“The last few months have been a particularly difficult time for me reaching a low rung of the ladder, losing the will for anything even small pleasures in life, which was hard for someone of general high energy. “I had what they call “long covid”, I was hospitalized for weeks and very, very sick. 

When I got discharged and back home everything that I could do pre covid, all those basic life skills i.e. walk, eat, sit, stand, read etc was now impossible for me. I could not walk, I could not sit up in bed, I had constant UTI’s, I had massive hair loss, I had such bad cuts in my mouth that I could not eat any spices. I had to have nurses living with me 24 hours per day, I had to even wake them at night, which I didn't like doing, but I had no way of getting to the washroom without them.

Sometimes I would have to go to the washroom 5 times per night.

I could not even take out tablets for myself, I couldn't even hold a glass of water and if I did the glass would fall out of my hands. 


I sent my reports to all the top Drs in Bombay, they all told me there was nothing they could do, and I would have to wait it out. I sent my reports to London, Drs there said post covid they cannot do anything, and that we should just wait. 


I met Hina through my niece, she assured me that I would get better and back to my normal self. She was right!

After the first session I started to feel better, I even started to go to the washroom independently, which I could not before, because everytime I would go I would fall. 


Now months later, I can even walk without help. I was on so much medication, which now, thanks to Hina, I don’t need anymore, even my own drs were baffled. They could not believe that at my age I would recover, and also be able to come off essential medicines. 


I can now walk, sit, read, go to the washroom alone, eat food, even pass food around, I can do my hair, all without any help!

I have also been using Hina’s organic essential hair oil and it has made my hair thicker, even her face cream has improved my skin texture. 


More than anything my mind has become much better than before. I was always someone who read a lot, I now read more and I can retain and recall the information better. My memory and concentration have experienced the positive effects of somatic movement.

“I was on antidepressants. All the Drs stressed to me that I must keep working out, cardio/weight lifting/yoga/walking. You name it, I was doing it. I suffer from anxiety and stress. Sometimes the effect would be too intense - I would feel breathless and panic. The effects were also physical, where I would feel paralysed and afraid. 

I started the somatics yoga course about 3 months ago. The practice has helped me gain control of my mind and my body. Slowly I was able to control my breath and use it to calm myself. Regular exercise and stretching has loosened up the tension regions in my back, neck and shoulder region. I now have a better understanding of myself and my body. I highly recommend the practice of somatics yoga, it has really brought me peace of mind.

For the last 25 years I have been busy being a working professional, Mom, Wife, daughter in law, & daughter. At times overwhelmed and with little or no ‘Me Time”. So this year, I took some time off to connect with the Me that I have overlooked over the years. During this journey to connect with myself I was introduced to Hina Sampat .

I did not come to Hina for treatment or relief from any physical pain or illness. 

Initially, I was curious as to how somatic healing would help. 

I was in for a very pleasant surprise.

Every session with Hina has made me feel relaxed and rejuvenated. After every session I feel happier, calmer & have started sleeping much better. I have been doing lots of physiotherapy, off and on and till recently I was doing pain management also under local anesthesia. My sister, who had long covid and she recommended Hina, as she had been so unwell she could not walk. She now walks again without assistance.. 

I have always struggled with my immunity


My birth was tough, and I had two difficult births for my sons. I have a heart condition, osteoporosis, and addison's disease, & consistent UTIS. I then suffered from a coma and due to this I developed IBS. My IBS is now under control thanks to Hina and I have reduced all my medinces. If I ever have body pain I recover much faster than before thanks to Hina. 

Since I started healing sessions with Hina for more than one year now I have not been admitted in the hospital and I am getting much better but slowly as with my huge history I knew from the beginning that it will take a long time, so of course I am being very patient, I also went to meet her personally in Mumbai.

The best thing about Hina’s healing session is just before the end of the session she puts us to rest and this is such a peaceful time that we go to sleep and she wants us to rest as long as we can and this rest helps us heal faster.

  1. It has been an amazing journey to receive Somatics from Hina. I'm a sporty guy, who loves tennis, basketball, rugby , yoga and weightlifting. And this adds a new dimension to my recovery and healing of injuries, as well as helps me have a peaceful mind and more in touch with my inner voice.
